SEVERN Club Restaurant really is something the Members of The Oamaru Club can take pride in.  Like everything we do at The Oamaru Club, we've done our best to make sure our restaurant is the best it can be for our Members.

We like to think that Severn is THE restaurant to go to in Oamaru.  Obviously, we are biased - we are always going to say that our own restaurant is the best - but just ask around and see what others who have been here say about us.

No restaurant experience is complete without excellent customer service - it's an expected part of the package and at Severn Club Restaurant our wait staff will make sure that you really enjoy your time with us.  Our fantastic wait staff provide full table service so you don't have to get up from your seat to get a drink - something that can be a pain in some Club restaurants around the country.

Enjoy a wine?  We have a huge range to enjoy with your meal, including Oyster Bay, Pasquale, Roaring Meg, The Ned and more.  Enjoy a beer?  Well look no further, 11 beers on tap just to start!!  Monteiths, DB, Tui, Speights - we cater for most tastes.  Of our tap beers, 2 are mid/low alcohol options - perfect to enjoy with a meal.  And obviously we stock a large range of bottled beer, RTD's, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.

Our Members, guests and authorised visitors can all enjoy a drink in the restaurant.  The public can enjoy a meal in our restaurant, but please don't be offended if our staff decline your request for alcohol.  As a Club, our liquor licence explicitly states that we can only serve alcohol to Members, guests and authorised visitors - and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by their legal parent or guardian.  No problem if you're of legal age and want to just come in for a meal - but just another reason to become a Member of The Oamaru Club - click on the membership tab at the top of the page to download a membership form.

Coming soon - NEW MENU - keep in mind that we do change our menu around every now and again for different reasons but it will give you an idea of what we have to offer.

SEVERN is open for Lunch & Dinner on Thursday through to Sunday - but we can cater for special events outside of these times.  If you are looking for an area for a special event, here at the Club we can fully cater the smallest function of 40, right up to 300+ seated in our Function Centre (which also has it's own bar facility).
